Houston Aggie Moms' Club

In 1976, through the sale of an Aggie Mom's Cookbook, our club set precedent by presenting Texas A&M with a $25,000 President's Endowed Scholarship. Since then, we have presented hundreds of scholarships to deserving students.

75TH ANNIVERSARY ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP - Current recipient is Rachel Magee ('08).

ACADEMIC EXCELLANCE ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP FUND - One year scholarships of $500 to $1,000 awarded on academic merit 2.5 GPR and financial need. Current recipients are David Bundy '08, Jason Files '07, Madeline Tarrillion '08, Elissa Fuller '08, Elizabeth Magee '08 and Thedore Mohle '09.

ENDOWED MATHEMATICS FUND - This fund provides stipends for teaching assistants in the Mathematics Department. Current recipients are Michael Fulkerson, Victoria Malloy, Ryan Newman, and Dimitar Trenev. Address inquiries to the Head of the Mathematics Department.

ENDOWED OPPORTUNITY AWARD SCHOLARSHIP - Is a $1,000 award given annually to an outstanding high school senior who is nominated by his/her principal or counselor. Current recipients are Divya Srinivason ('09)and Joshua Patterson ('09).

ENDOWED SUL ROSS SCHOLARSHIP - This scholarship is awarded to four freshmen or sophomores in the Corps. Current recipients include Paul Petrie,'10; Patrick Smith '11; Hector Morales, '09; and Zachary Whitehurst, '08. Address inquiries to Commandant's Office.

GALVESTON ACADEMIC - The current recipient is Aaron Orlando '08.

HOUSTON ACADEMIC - Current recipients include: David Bundy ('08), Jason Files ('07), Madeline Tarrillion ('08), Elissa Fuller ('08), Elizabeth Magee ('08) and Theodore Mohle ('09).

HOUSTON AGGIE MOM SCHOLARSHIP - The recipients ($220 per semester) are Lisa Chilivetis '07, Drew Prochaska '07, Ryan Mary Brawner '10, Katherine Hight '08, Elissa Fuller '08, Kelsey Fuller '10, Tori Meineke '10, and Steven Kent '10

PRESIDENT'S ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP - This scholarship is a $3,000 award presented annually to an outstanding high school senior who is nominated by his or her school principal or counselor. The current recipient is Leslie Holtzclaw ('09).

ROBERT L. BOONE SCHOLARSHIP - The current recipient is Matthew Crow ('08).

The Houston A&M University Mothers' Club Scholarship Application is available online. The amount of this scholarship and number of scholarships are determined by the board each year.
